As a project development analyst, I have a varied role where I am involved in many different parts of our projects. For example, I’m involved in detailed planning processes, conducting market analyses and costing our projects to ensure we create value in the best possible way. A lot of time is spent in meetings with tenants and architects to design premises that meet their needs. I also sit in on contract negotiations, and once we have the leases in place, I follow them all the way from design to construction and eventually occupation. This means that I really get to be involved and see the projects grow from idea to reality.
The best thing about my job is being able to follow the projects through the whole journey – from the first sketch to the finished building. I like the variety of tasks and being able to use both my analytical and creative side. I’m also surrounded by incredible colleagues who make no problem feel too big to solve, and we have a lot of fun along the way. I learn something new every day, and to be able to drive projects forward together and see them become reality is a great feeling.
