Hemsö acquires nursing home in Germany

Hemsö is expanding its portfolio and acquiring a nursing home in Chemnitz in Germany. The investment amount is EUR 19 million.

The nursing home is located in the state of Saxony. The home has 186 beds, comprising 146 single rooms and 20 double rooms.

This acquisition will expand our portfolio to 80 nursing homes in Germany. The nursing home was built in 1992 and is attractively located in the centre of the city with retail stores and other services close by,”says Jens Nagel, Head of Region, Germany at Hemsö.

Hemsö will take over the existing rental agreement with care provider SenVital, which will also continue to run the home.
