Hemsö acquires nursing home in Germany

Hemsö has acquired a nursing home in Greven in the district of Steinfurt in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. The nursing home was built in 2007, has 80 single rooms and a total area of 4,150 sqm. The property has been leased to CMS Senioren-Residenzen (Alloheim Group) under a long-term contract.
“In addition to acquisitions of educational properties such as schools and teaching centres, the acquisition of nursing homes is still our core business in Germany. The ambition is to continue broadening our ownership. The total number of elderly care properties in our nationwide portfolio is now 67. This means that the company has about 6,300 nursing-home beds and 460 apartments for assisted living in 11 states,” says Jens Nagel, Head of Region, Germany at Hemsö.
The market value of Hemsö’s total portfolio of 80 properties in Germany is over EUR 1.1 billion.
