Novum
Novum Science Park
An innovation centre with an interdisciplinary range of research and higher education in a dynamic environment where knowledge and creativity meet.
The long-term vision for Novum is for the property to be a place where research, education and healthcare meets with society and the business community. Together with TAH and Neo, Novum will enable collaboration between healthcare, research, education and business to support and develop the healthcare of the future.
Where knowledge and creativity meet
Novum is a building with a total of around 40,000 square metres of office and lab premises. Novum is centrally located in the Stockholm South Life Science cluster in Flemingsberg in the Stockholm South University area, an innovation centre with an interdisciplinary range of research, university healthcare and higher education. The area is characterised by a dynamic environment where knowledge and creativity meet.
Hemsö is continuing to develop the campus area in Flemingsberg and has begun a major renovation project and upgrading of existing technical installations in the Novum building. The aim is to modernise the property and adapt it to current and future needs. This involves replacing the old, outdated technical systems, including ventilation, cooling and heating centres and electrical switchgear.
The project, a complete technical upgrade of the existing building, started in summer 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
