Selleberga nursing home
Hemsö is developing a special housing facility for the elderly with 80 beds. Bjuv Municipality is the tenant and a 20-year lease has been signed.
In Bjuv’s Selleberga development area, Hemsö is developing new special housing for the elderly. It comprises 6,800 square metres with 80 apartments spread over four floors, including a section for short-term stays.
“There is currently a shortage of residential care places in Bjuv municipality. This is a common situation in many growing municipalities. We are delighted to be part of the solution and look forward to expanding our long-term collaboration with the municipality,” says Robert Cardell, Project Developer at Hemsö.
Construction started in autumn 2025 and is expected to be completed in spring 2027. The building will be environmentally certified according to Miljöbyggnad 4.0, with the aim of achieving Gold level for energy use and alignment with the EU taxonomy criteria for new construction.
